Post Installation: After you have installed K'Alert and restarted Microsoft Outlook, you should notice the 
button in your toolbar.
Turn K'Alert ON: Click the K'Alert button in the Outlook toolbar to set up reminder forwarding.
Configure K'Alert Options:
The check-box Activate K'Alert 
activates the reminder forwarding feature.
Fill out the time (in seconds) in Trigger Condition to define how long K'Alert will wait for you to dismiss the reminder pop up before taking a forwarding action.
Select a Forwarding Action to specify how you want to receive forwarded reminder messages.
The radio-box Send Text Message 
enables you to receive the reminder message using text messaging. Select your cellular service provider from the dop down menu.
The radio-box Send Email 
enables you to receive the reminder message through email. Click the radio-box and fill in the email address where you want the reminder to be sent.
The radio-box Text2Voice 
is a premium feature that enables you to have the date, time, and subject of the reminder read back to you using Konnech's text-to-speech technology. This feature is particularly useful when used to alert you of important incoming emails by calling you and reading them to you over the phone. The radio-box Text2Voice+ 
is a premium feature. The + version allows for up to six (6) phone numbers to be dialed. This feature can be used to alert a group of people of a reminder or to find people wherever they might be. Based on a set of forwarding numbers and a forwarding schedule, reminders are intelligently routed to the preset destination(s). With Text2Voice+, no important or urgent reminder will be missed. The radio-box Interactive Voice Response 
is a premium feature. The IVR feature extends the functionality of the Text2Voice by allowing you to take action after recieving the alert. Please contact Konnech for more information on service plans for this feature.
The radio-box Sensors 
is an advanced option for integrating security and sensor alerts into the K'Alert program. This feature allows you to be alerted of faults that are triggered in your computer or security system. Konnech manufacturers hardware that allows you to plug any compatible sensor into your computer using our PCI sensor controller. Please contact Konnech for more information on this feature.
The check-box Dismiss the Reminder 
determines if you want to dismiss the pop-up screen after the reminder has been sent.
Click OK to close the K'Alert dialogue box. The K'Alert Message 
button in your toolbar should indicate that forwarding is activated by the lightening symbol.
Set a reminder from Outlook Calendar or Tasks: Reminders can be set from the Outlook calendar or from a task.
Outlook has a built in reminder function that can be set for any calendar event or task. Open the calendar or tasks and create a new event.
Set a reminder from an Email:
You can set a reminder by flagging any email for follow-up.
Set a reminder from Contacts:
You can set a reminder by flagging any contact for follow-up
Don't dismiss the reminder!
K'Alert will only forward alerts if you don't dismiss them when the pop up appears on screen.
If you are not in front of your computer to dismiss the event, K'Alert will automatically forward the message to your cell phone or email inbox.
